Where on EARTH has people humanity gone to??
It's now been well over 2 years since the genocide on Palestine has begun, and I am increasingly disheartened by how many people still don't care because it doesn't effect them, or they are in support of this senseless violence. Half of Gaza's population is udner 18, and yet so many people are convinced that they are somehow evil, and the violence against children and their families is okay. The "ceasefire" that was supposed to happen was shortly violated by Israel, and nobody bats an eye. It's a genocide justified by religion, and it breaks my heart. I worry that this violence won't end anytime soon. I'm scared that people are losing interest more and more. It's indescribable how cruel people can be towards Palestinians for simply existing. I pray, and I will keep praying and keep helping those in need until this violence permanently ends. Regardless of what people may think about me as a queer person supporting Palestine but the fact is simple: I care about human rights more than people's opinions of me. There are people in dire need that I can help, I'm going to do something. My empathy isn't transational, it does not have to be "earned" by someone.
